Job Context

This position deals both potential and existing buyers independently for all the merchandising activities including marketing, price quoting, negotiation and sourcing with maximum honesty and integrity. In order to ensure timely development and delivery of samples, yarn/accessories/trims to the production floor; s/he coordinate with the external and internal stakeholders as planned against the relevant time and action plans'/he coordinates merchandising functions on a daily basis with production/production planning department and act as a coordinator among stakeholders with a view to ensure timely execution and shipments of orders.

Job Responsibility

• Proactive involvement in handling all merchandising related functions independently as well as working in close conjunction with merchandising team members in overseeing different clients/customers' accounts, beginning from yarn consumption till final inspection and order shipment.
• Effective liaison with existing/new buyers in connection with taking profitable orders and meeting export-marketing target.
• Coordination and managing the overall activities related to Merchandising (Order taking, order execution and shipment) of export oriented garments products effectively and efficiently.
• Scheduling and supervising time and action plans for sample section programs in synchronized manner for timely delivery to buyers/customers, as well as conducting independently inspections of the sample garments before being sent to clients/customers.
• To arrange all kinds of yarns, fabrics and accessories both from local and foreign sources as required for production.
• Engaging in style-wise critical path analysis to ensure optimum merchandising support to the various interrelated department to ensure on-time shipment schedules.

  Educational Requirements

  o          Bachelor degree in any discipline

  o          Graduate/ Masters from any reputed institution.

  o          Textile Background will be given preference.
