Shwapna Bhowmick selected EC member of FICCI

Desk Report:  Shwapna Bhowmick ,Country Manager of Mark & Spencer has been elected executive committee member of the Foreign Investors Chamber of Commerce & Industry (FICCI) for the period of 2022-2023. A total 15-member strong executive committee was  elected.

The announcement was made at FICCI’s 58th annual general meeting (AGM), held on Sunday, said a press release.

Chief Executive Officer of Standard Chartered Bank Naser Ezaz Bijoy and Managing Director of United Dhaka Tobacco Co Ltd Neil Coupland has been elected president and vice president of the Foreign Investors Chamber of Commerce & Industry (FICCI) for the period of 2022-2023.

Mark & Spencer is one of the largest and renowned retailers in the world and has been operating in Bangladesh. The organization is one of the core members of FICCI, led by Shwapna Bhowmick. She with the organization has been actively working to develop communities through training and developing skill sets and jobs driving growth in the RMG sector of Bangladesh
