Job Context 

The Product Leader is responsible for both product planning and product marketing. This includes managing the product throughout the Product Lifecycle, gathering and prioritizing product and customer requirements, defining the product vision, and working closely with factories, to deliver winning products. It also includes working with sales, marketing and support to ensure that revenue and customer satisfaction goals are met. The Product Leader’s job also includes ensuring that the product and marketing efforts support the company’s overall strategy and goals.

Job Responsibility 

• Define the product strategy and roadmap
• Maintain MRDs and PRDs with priority
• Be an expert with respect to the competition
• Perform product demos to customers
• Set pricing to meet revenue and profitability goals
• Deliver a monthly revenue forecast
• Develop sales tools and collateral
• Propose an overall budget to ensure success
• Brief and train the sales force at monthly sales meetings
• Act as a leader within the company
• Develop business relationship with suppliers/vendors, customers
• Ensure the availability of both the raw materials and finished goods
• Supervise the level of inventory, EOQ etc. to minimize the inventory holding cost
• Follow up the movement of inventory and arrange to liquidate it, if any will be immovable
• Present performance data to management
• Design strategies to minimize the cost or time required to move goods
• Work to understand customers’ needs and how to meet them
• Responsible for actual inventory counts.

Education Required:

 Graduation/Post Graduation in any discipline from a recognized university.

Skill Required:

 Sound knowledge in Apparel Production & Planning

Experience Required: 

Minimum 10 years in the same industry.

Salary Range: Negotiable
