 Job Context -We are looking for an experienced and independent Production Merchandiser for Lingerie to join our team. In this role the individual will play a key role in supporting the team to maximize commercial opportunities. The individual will be responsible for managing a diverse range of contacts and be an autonomous communication bridge between customers and vendors to ensure the products are well looked-after from product development to final production.

Job Responsibility 

·        Visit the factories to check the production planning & status of all placed orders

·        Check if fabric, accessories & packing material are in-house in the factory for timely input

·        Alert manager if there are any delays or missing raw materials

·        Set up a production plan for vendors to accommodate all placed orders

·        Coordinate between merchandising, production & planning teams in factory to ensure that the requirement of the buyers are met, in order to ensure a timely delivery of quality goods

·        Detect faults and recommend corrective action by checking the operations of factories, discussing and solving the problems with the manager, in order to improve the product quality

·        Continuously develop own competencies & skills in relevant areas, in order to enhance service quality and support personal development.

Experience requirement 

·        4 to 6 year(s)

·        The applicants should have experience in the following area(s):
Lingerie Production, nightwear, UNDERWEAR

Additional Requirement 

·        Minimum 4-6 years' related experiences preferably in lingerie product including experience on Nightwear & underwear product categories.

·        Experience in both factory, as well as buying office, will be preferred.

·        Good understanding of manufacturing process in garment field & knowledge on merchandising is required.

·        Willing to travel to factories.

·        Good communication and interpersonal skills & Good command of English,

·        Experience working in factories, responsible for quality, production follow up, should be well capable to coordinating with all departments, including merchandising, fabric mill and planning

·        Knowledge of basic computer handling, including Microsoft outlook, Word and Excel.
